about me

Thank you for visiting my site!

I started my career in Insurance Industry, from Philippines I moved to Singapore in 2008. I began practicing Yoga as activity outside work so I can enjoy life in Singapore. But my practice became a sacred space to me, whenever I’m on the mat the sole connection that matters is to my inner self. As I progress in my practice, the inner teacher starts to emerge. After 7 years of being regular practitioner I decided to travel to India and pursue Yoga Teachers Training Course. The following year I took Prenatal and Postnatal Yoga Teachers Training under Mindful Birth Australia. For many years I was enjoying my corporate job, but after my trip to India, it opened my mind into different perspective in life and thirst for knowledge to my passion.

I love how meditation heals my mind in mid of stress and wish to share and guide others to find mental healing through meditation. I came across Alchemy Crystal singing bowls in one of the sound healing meditation classes I attended. I was astonished with the experience and how effective this practice in bringing the mind and body in complete relaxation. I took the course of Quantum Alchemy Crystal Singing Bowls practitioner, and since then I incorporate the sound healing practice into my teaching.

Apart from Yoga, I enjoyed doing different type of exercises in gym including Pilates. I took an interest in precision of movement in Pilates and slowly developed an eye in observing movement. In 2021 I started my Pilates Teachers Training course under Body Control Pilates (BCP) in London, I moved to UK in 2022 and completed the course. As a certified Pilates Teacher, I’m continuing my education under BCP to keep my knowledge and skills in teaching to update.

Following a shoulder surgery in 2019, I went through rehabilitation to bring my shoulder back to mobility and strength. As someone who are physically active and went through injury and rehabilitation, I understand that apart from the physical limit of the body, it is important to manage the mental and emotional impact of limited movement. Sometimes we are so drawn in frustration that our body not able to do things we used to, and it often bring negative thoughts and feelings. Being both Pilates and a Yoga teacher, I see the beauty in both method of practice. As a teacher I believe in holistic approach, by healing the physical body through mindful movement and manage our thoughts and emotions through energy healing of meditation.
