about me

Thank you for visiting my site!

I started my career in the insurance industry in the Philippines, and in 2008 I moved to Singapore to continue that path. What began as a simple search for balance outside of work led me to my first yoga class, a space that quickly became a sanctuary. Each time I stepped onto the mat, I found a quiet connection to myself, a place where everything softened and the inner voice grew clearer. Over time, that inner teacher began to emerge.

After seven years of dedicated practice, I travelled to India to complete my Yoga Teacher Training, a transformative experience that reshaped my understanding of life, wellbeing, and purpose. The following year, I deepened my studies with Prenatal and Postnatal Yoga training under Mindful Birth Australia, and Yin Yoga-The Functional Approach to Yoga under Paul Grilley. I continued expanding my knowledge through different stages of life.

Meditation became a powerful anchor for me during stressful periods, and I felt called to guide others toward the same mental clarity and emotional healing. My path into sound healing began when I first experienced Alchemy Crystal Singing Bowls, their resonance brought my mind and body into a state of profound rest. Inspired by their impact, I trained as a Quantum Alchemy Crystal Singing Bowls practitioner in Singapore and now weave sound healing into my classes to support emotional balance and energetic harmony.

Alongside yoga, I have always enjoyed movement in many forms, including Pilates. I was drawn to the precision, intelligence, and mindful control of the Pilates method, and over time I developed a keen eye for observing movement patterns. After relocating to the UK in 2022, I completed my Pilates Matwork Teachers training, and in March 2026 I became certified in Pilates Reformer. I continue to advance my education with Body Control Pilates, London to refine my teaching and deepen my understanding of the body and movement.

In 2019, I underwent shoulder surgery and experienced the long journey of rehabilitation. As someone who is physically active, I learned firsthand how injury affects not only the body but also the mind and emotions. The frustration of limited movement can be overwhelming, often bringing self‑doubt or discouragement. This experience strengthened my belief in a holistic approach to healing, one that honours both the physical and emotional landscape of recovery.

As a teacher of both Pilates and Yoga, I see the beauty and wisdom in each method. Pilates offers sustainable exercises that supports functional movement, reduce the risk of injury and keeping the body safe in movement; Yoga offers grounding, introspection, and emotional balance. Through mindful movement, breathwork, meditation, and sound healing, I guide my students toward a deeper awareness of their bodies and a more compassionate relationship with themselves.
